Club Night
Halloween inspired night shoot.
Member’s to come along with camera’s for a spooky inspired night shoot.
Shoot will take place in the 2nd carpark for light painting and around the church for a graveyard spooky shoot.
There will be a break for hot chocolate and social.
Suggested camera settings and requirements for light painting:
Manual
Lens - 24-105mm zoom full frame or equivalent
Tripod
Manual focus (Club will supply something to focus on)
ISO 200 or your camera’s optimal ISO (lowest avoids noise in low light)
Aperture f/8-f/11 starting at f/11.
Remote release to avoid camera shake.
Shutter (BULB), hold open for duration of light painting using ‘bulb’ setting (20-30 seconds)
Make sure you are far enough forward/away to frame the shot correctly.
Shoot in Raw.
Head torch.
Wrap up warm and wear comfortable footwear.
Spare camera batteries as ‘bulb’ and live view can drain quicker.

'the judge wouldn't like this, but I do because ..........'

Autumn Colours
For obvious reasons we will not be attending together as a group, but
there's nothing to stop you keeping your eye out for the colour change and shooting the Autumn Colours.
Open Competition One
Our first club open competition of the season. No prints of
course, PDIs only, remembering the new competitions' rules - i.e. your own
work.
Street Photography Outing
Following Andrew Mills talk. For obvious reasons we will not be attending together as a group, but
there's nothing to stop you getting out there and having a go at street
photography when you have to go out.

8th October 2020 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start Via Zoom
He is a professional photographer specialising in Advertising, Editorial and commercial photography. He is an experienced lecturer in higher education, lecturing and teaching photography and art of and teaching photography and art photography on degree level courses in university and higher education.
As a exhibiting art and documentary photographer he works on a variety of personal projects and has had over a dozen exhibitions to is name.
